Bring Amazon Quick into your department

This hackathon is open to enterprise and department teams. Using Amazon Quick Suite as the toolset and real department scenarios as the challenge, teams progress through four briefings, three training sessions and continuous technical mentoring to deliver a demonstrable, production-ready data-intelligence application — with clear milestones that recognize every team's contribution along the way.

Teams self-organize at the company or department level, with the goal of putting Amazon Quick to real use in their own department. The organizers run briefings and training, provision environments, answer technical questions and review projects; awards are ultimately decided by delivery materials and on-site review.

Why does this hackathon choose Quick?

Traditional data projects require building a data warehouse, writing ETL, building frontends and training models first — customer teams can rarely complete this end to end within a limited mentoring window. Teams self-organize by company or department; each customer (company/department) may enter only one team. Entries must pass AWS review before reaching the final judging.

Briefings are held online on 9/11, 9/17, 10/15 and 10/20; you can register at any of them. Session 4 is dedicated to teams that attended the earlier sessions but had not yet registered.

Three sessions: 9/24 Quick Suite onboarding, 11/5 advanced delivery and project polishing, 12/3 finals preparation and material standards — covering the full path from product onboarding to final defense.

Entries must address a real scenario from your own department, use at least two Amazon Quick Suite components, and form a demonstrable, deliverable application. Every team must pass AWS review before entering the final judging.

Five tiers by final team count (1–5 / 6–10 / 11–15 / 16–20 / ≥21): First Prize is a Spark or equivalent Apple Card plus an overseas visit; Second Prize is an Apple M6 or equivalent Apple Card plus an overseas visit; Third Prize is $1,000 equivalent prizes; the Participation Prize is $100 equivalent prizes.
